I’m loving putting together my festive gift guides, and this one I just had the MOST fun with this one – there are SO many gorgeous things out at the moment, from both small local brands and bigger brands.

I do these posts every single year, to help you guys think of things to buy the ladies in your life – your girlfriend, wife, sister, mom or bestie. There are plenty of different price options, but I’ll also be putting up a gift guide for R150 and under, if budget is very restricted, or if you’re looking more for tokens, hostess gifts or stocking fillers.

FESTIVE FASHION GIFTING

1.Bena Woman Classic Silky Shorts Pajama Set R840 from Bena Woman – this set in the shade Rosé All Day is luxury pjs at their best! The pretty dusty pink shade has white piping and buttons, and is just so soft and feminine. A really beautiful gift.

2.Trenery Shea Kaftan R699 from Trenery at Woolworths – this animal print kaftan is exquisite for heading out for a girl’s lunch, as a cover up at the pool or beach, or even paired with some heels for a night out! Trenery really make some gorgeous clothing.

3.iPanema Class Glam II sandals R175 (marked down from R350 on Black Friday) from Foschini – iPanema are some of the most comfortable and beautiful sandals around, and this olive green pair is just beautiful.

8.Citrus Pear Wrap Dress R1190 from Danielle Frylinck – the pattern and the colours on this are so bright and vibrant, perfect for the summer.

9.Cherry Ostrich Luxe Shopper R390 from The Sheba Shop – I own this exact bag, and it’s my absolute favourite to take when travelling (the fact that the luggage I use is also red is an added bonus). The quality of these bags is fantastic, and they’re so comfortable to carry. I actually own 2 – the other one houses all of my work stuff during the week.

2.Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Replenishing HydraGel Complex R350 for 75ml from Woolworths – having been through 2 jars of this myself, I can totally vouch for just how hydrating it is. Fabulous at prepping skin for makeup too.

3.Mario Badescu Glycolic Eye Cream R475 for 14g from Mario Badescu SA – honestly this is one of the best eye creams for hydrating, brightening and overall anti-ageing. I noticed the fine lines around my eyes from dehydration disappeared after a week of using this eye cream!

4.Elemis Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm R1090 for 105g from The Beautiful Store – this is a cult favourite product, and a multi-award winning on at that too. It’s a deep cleansing balm that will melt down all makeup, and leave skin feeling nourished. Luxury at it’s best!

5.Filorga NCEF Night Mask R895 for 50ml from The Beautiful Store – I swept through a whole tub of this, because it’s basically like a full night’s beauty sleep in a jar! A super hydrating and regenerating mask that leaves you with revitalised and radiant skin the following morning.

6.BeauRejuve LED Light Therapy Device R2500 from The Laser Beautique – while facial tools may often seem gimmicky, this one is NOT. I have been for multiple treatments now that use this device, and the glow it leaves behind lasts for around 10 days. I reckon if I owned one at home, and used it nightly, my skin would have a Hollywood-esque radiance to it all the time. 7.SVR MicroGommage Lift Exfoliating Mask R470 for 70g from The Beautiful Store – I am still in the process of reviewing this mask, but after I’ve used half the tube I think it’s safe to say it works amazingly enough for me to recommend it as a gift! It’s a dual action exfoliating mask, with 2.5% quartz and volcanic sand (physical exfoliation), and 0.1% pure retinol (chemical exfoliation) that leaves your skin baby soft and smooth.

8.Skin Bar Jade Roller & Gua Sha set R556 (marked down from R695) from Chick Cosmetics – these facial tool sets are all the rage, and for good reason. I have a roller myself, and it’s fantastic using for some facial massage, and especially when my eyes are puffy and tired. Relaxing and great for your skin.

9.Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Replenishing Oil R585 from Foschini – I finished up a whole bottle of this, and it honestly is one of the nicest cleansing oils I’ve used. It doesn’t leave your skin dry, nor does it leave a greasy film on the skin – just soft, fresh, clean skin.

10.Clinique Moisture Surge™ 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator R750 for 75ml from Clinique – if you haven’t tried this product, you really should, as it’s a cult favourite for a reason. Intensively hydrating, lightweight and utterly divine for thirsty skin, it now comes in a bigger size tub – a fab festive gift for a fan.

11.Optiphi Complexion Control R1310 for 30ml from Optiphi – legitimately this is my beauty product of 2020. I’m on my second bottle, and if you suffer with any kind of pigmentation, dull skin or uneven skin tone, this is your best bet. Definitely something I know I’d love as a gift, and I know many ladies who feel the same. 12.Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Sage & Orange Blossom R375 for 118ml from Mario Badescu SA – ALL of the Mario Badescu Facial Sprays are utterly divine, but this is their latest offering. It’s fab for dull, tired skin as it provides a nice boost of energy and hydration. It’s also great for purifying and improving the clarity of your skin – plus it smells delicious.

13.Elizabeth Arden Retinol Ceramide Capsules 3 pc set R695 from Superbalist – if you guys have been reading my blog for a while, you’ll know just how highly I rate these retinol capsules. This gift set is beautiful for any fan of the product, or someone who’s been wanting to try them.

14.Elemis Superfood Vital Veggie Mask R607.50 for 75ml from The Beautiful Store – I’ve seen the Elemis masks get some great reviews. This one has pre-biotics in, and promises to hydrate, nourish and brighten. Great for a mask fanastic.

15.Novexpert Smoothing Toning Mist with Hyaluronique R550 from Metro Cosmetics – this is a truly beautiful hydrating facial mist, one that I would happily repurchase myself. It’s very concentrated in hyaluronic acid, so it’s fabulous at plumping and hydrating parched skin.

16.Esse Cocoa Exfoliator R420 for 50ml – one of the best physical exfoliators out there, plus the brand is natural and organic. Fabulous festive gift for the beauty junkie.

FESTIVE BODYCARE GIFTING

1.Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour® Cream 3pc Set R455 from Superbalist – the Eight Hour® range is absolutely amazing overall, so if the lady in your life is a fan of the range, this gift set would be IDEAL. It contains a full size tube of the OG Skin Protectant, a full size Lip Protectant Stick and a travel size of the Intensive Moisturizing Hand Treatment.

2.Vita Liberata Body Blur R1130 for 100ml from SkinMiles – GUYS this stuff is sheer gold. I own the shade Latte, which is the perfect bronzed tan shade for my pale skin tone. It’s basically like glowy body makeup that sets down and doesn’t budge until you soap it off. I’ve used this on days where I’ve had no time to self tan for a function, and BAM – instant bronze! It comes in different shades and you need a pea sized amount for each leg, so this tube will last ages.

3.Yog Nog Shower Gel R195 for 275g from Lush – I still have some of this left from last Christmas and I am savouring it. It smells like custard and delicious festive spices, and it’s a beautiful shimmering gold.

4.Optiphi Body Curve β-Body Wash Polishing Body Cleanser R280 from Optiphi – this body wash uses lactic and salicylic acids to exfoliate the skin, balance the skin’s pH, prevent breakouts and retain moisture. Absolutely phenomenal product for those who suffer with bumps on their arms, or keep their skin super smooth.

5.Skin Creamery Oil-Milk Cleanser R374 for 200ml from Faithful To Nature – WHOOPS! This was meant to be squeezed into my skincare image, but it landed up here! I’ve been working my way through a bottle of this luscious cleanser, and I’ve been recommending it to anyone who will listen. It smells glorious, feels so luxe to use and leaves skin soft and clean.

6.REN AHA Smart Renewal Body Serum R820 for 200ml from REN SA – how amazing does this body serum sound? It moisturises, exfoliates and leaves skin glowing.

7.Roasting Chestnuts On An Open Fire Shower Gel R205 for 250g from Lush – the name just says it all! For any Christmas-nut, this would be such a wonderful gift.

FESTIVE MAKEUP & HAIRCARE GIFTING

1.Elizabeth Arden Dual End Foundation Brush R450 from Foschini for Beauty – LEGIT the best foundation brush I’ve ever laid my hands on. My sister gifted this to me for my birthday this year and I’ve barely touched my other foundation brushes since. I recommend it for any lady who loves their makeup. I just don’t know why I don’t see more reviews on this brush!

2.Ellips Pink Hair Repair Capsules R150 for 50 from Ellips – I’m such a massive fan of the Ellips brand as a whole, and these are my overall favourite product of the bunch. The capsules do come in 5 variants, for different hair concerns, so feel free to choose what your loved one would prefer, but these are amazing for hair damaged from heat styling.

3.Smashbox Spotlight Palette R689 from Foschini – 3 gorgeous, glowing shades of top quality highlighter. I’ve swatched these previously in store (pre-covid) and the formula is so smooth, with no chunky sparkle at all.

4.Xtreme Lashes Glideshadow Long Lasting Eyeshadow Stick R225 from The Beautiful Store – I was gifted the matte shade Mahogany by my lovely Xtreme Lashes tech Nadine, to test out the formula. It is absolutely superb, lasts all day and super pigmented – plus it’s lash extension compatible! So quick and easy to use.

5.Colourpop California Love eyeshadow palette R490 from Betty Online – Colourpop make such great eyeshadow palettes, the formula is just so good. How beautiful are these colours?

6.Real Techniques Enhanced Eye Set R247.50 (marked down from R495) from Foschini – I own this eye brush set from Real Techniques and it is superb. I’ve loved every single on of the brushes, and the quality is amazing.

7.Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter and Glow in Dollish R395 from The Beautiful Store – I own the shade Bronzed Bell in this formula and I have one of the Shimmer and Glow ones too. They’re a real standout product, and last with no creasing at all. Fabulous for the lass who loves some sparkle.

FESTIVE LIFESTYLE GIFTING

1.The Harvest Table Collagen Granules R415 for 350g from The Harvest Table – I’m sure you know by now that I’m a big fan of the collagen and other products from The Harvest Table, so I just want EVERYONE to be introduced to the brand! The granules have the least taste of any collagen I’ve tried, and I’ve seen such incredible benefits from using them.

2.Cape Island Wild Coast Classic Candle R320 from Cape Island – this is the latest candle scent in the Cape Island collection, and the packaging is just gorgeous. Described as ‘sweetly seductive’ with notes of black currant and wild jasmine, with rich praline and patchouli, it sounds downright dreamy.

3.Cream Enamel Roaster Pot R429 from Woolworths – how gorgeous is this for the lady who loves to cook? She can use it to whip up a delicious meal this festive season and for many years to come.

4.Country Road Dessi Travel Beach Towel R349 from Country Road – this pretty pink towel will be perfect by the pool or on the sandy beach this summer.

5.Skoon. Skinside Out All-In-One Beauty Smoothie Elasticity R1295.95 for 30 from Faithful To Nature – there’s been loads of hype around the skin supplements from Skoon. so I’m sure any beauty loving lass would love one of these under the Christmas tree.

6.The Harvest Table Collagen Hot Chocolate R480 for 400g from The Harvest Table – this is a deliciously healthy version of regular hot chocolate. It’s unsweetened, so you can use your sweetener of choice, plus it’s creamy and rich.

FESTIVE DRINKS GIFTING

1.Six Dogs Pinotage Stained Gin R450 for 750ml from Six Dogs Distillery – being both a gin and a Pinotage lover, I can only imagine how delicious this gin must be. It would make such a great gift for the lady who loves both wine and gin, and the packaging is beautiful.

2.Poetic License Strawberry & Cream Gin R399 from Poetic License – my gin review group and I actually reviewed this delicious gin a couple of months ago. It’s so smooth, with a lovely natural strawberry flavour, and a subtle creaminess that coats the mouth after you’ve swallowed. Absolutely delicious!

3.Krone Borealis Cuvée Brut 2018 R189 from CyberCellar – I’ve been lucky enough to drink this bubbly a few times. The first was on the day I got engaged! A blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, it’s beautifully dry and crisp, a lovely gift for the sparkling wine fanatic.

4.Ginologist Snow Globe Gin R299 from Takealot – I bought this with my gin review group and it is not only so gorgeous, it tastes delicious! The silver leaf flakes float so slowly around, like a real snow globe. The gin also has a festive spice flavouring that tastes just like Christmas.
