It’s that time of year again!!!!!
I love the Christmas season. I get like a kid whenever it rolls around, and now thanks to my hubby, I have even more reason to love it – he proposed last year on Christmas day! Shame – he set a dangerous precedent, and I keep teasing him that he somehow has to top that this year.
I love doing these Christmas gift guides – not only does it actually help me out with looking for gifts for family and friends, it helps all of YOU.

Christmas Gift Guide Under R100
This year I’m following the same format. A guide for presents for the ladies, one for the gents, and one for smaller gifts, tokens or things to add to those stockings! However, the Stocking Stuffer post – today’s one – will be for gifts that are R150 or under. I’ve tried to give a nice variety of gifts for guys, for gals and for all different taste and budgets.
Enjoy!
1. Pink Cosmetics Unicorn Poop Handcrafted Soaps R125, from Pink Cosmetics – These come in a tub of 6-8 soaps (being handmade, they’ll vary in shape and size slightly) and are different colours and smell delightfully fruity. Cute and quirky!
2. Deadpool mug from Mantality R125 – Deadpool is not only hilarious, but this mug will make your morning coffee that much more entertaining. For guys and girls alike.
3. Woolworths Honey, Matcha and Barberry Granola R149.95 – Granola might seem like a weird gift for someone. But I’d love this, and I think any foodie-type person would. It’s a luxury granola that you wouldn’t splurge on yourself. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous, and can you imagine those Instagram photos with the jar and this sprinkled over your Greek yoghurt? 😉
4.Missha Pure Source Pocket Pack from Pink Cosmetics for R60 – These face masks come in a handy squeezy pouch. You can get several uses from it, and it seals up again after each use. I liked the look of the honey one, as it’s something for everyone – soothing, hydrating and also treating any blemishes. Korean beauty really is a wonderful thing.
5.Marble notebooks from Superbalist for R104 – A set of three marble-patterned notebooks. You can mark them all for different things, or use them one at a time. Very chic and so useful!
6.Hand decorated chocolate stars from Woolworths for R89.99 – The most beautiful chocolates, a great gift for that host or hostess having a Christmas party – I’m sure your mother always told you not to show up empty-handed when you attend a function at someone’s house?
7.Infuse your own Gin kit, from Woolworths for R79.99 – This bottle contains juniper berries, rosemary, lavender and hibiscus. You just add your own gin and leave it to infuse. And then you have a fancy pourer already plugged in. Really nice for the gin-fanatic or foodie.
8.Smitten Facial Cleansing Mitten from Beauty Worx for R75 – These genius micro-fibre clothes remove makeup super easily (less cleanser, less face wipes and cotton wool, so great for the pocket and the environment). Reusable, washable and a beautiful pink mitten that you just dampen and pop onto your hand.
9. Créme Caramels in tin from Woolworths for R139.99 – Delicious créme caramels (these are divine, perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth!) along with a tin you can reuse to store your sweets in afterwards. Or your bits and pieces at home (think screws, coins, medicine, sheet masks, stationery etc).
10.Make It Last setting spray from Milani for R150 – I’ve yet to try out this setting spray, but I’ve heard nothing but good things. And a girl always needs her makeup to stay put for that NYE party!
11.Sequin coin purse from either Typo or Superbalist for R55 – I love the oil-slick colours of these sequins, and I’m a firm believer that you can never have too many of these little purses or bags. I have a whole box of small purses and makeup bags and I rotate them all, and they bring me such joy when I use them.
12.Golden Pear soap from Lush for R125 – What would a Christmas-themed gift guide be, without a Lush product?? This isn’t just a regular slice of soap from Lush, it’s a beautiful golden pear, filled with pear puree, Brazilian orange oil, sandalwood, coconut and clove, as well as a ton of butters and oils to keep your skin soft and supple. So pretty!
13.Mini body butter set from Woolworths for R79.95 – I’ve smelled this line of products in Woolies, and damn they smell gorgeous. Plus, I have the handcream in the Milk fragrance, and it’s just so beautiful – subtle, luxurious and it’s so nourishing without being greasy on my hands.
14.Flavour Nation flavourings in Rainbow Drops and Chai for R35 each from Flavour Nation, and their Sweetener drops for R60 – I’ve spoken about this company and their products countless times in posts and on social media. You can use these drops for desserts, for baking, for yoghurt, chia seed puddings, water and coffee. Pretty much anything you can think of. When using in baking, you’ll probably already have sweetness in there, but for adding to water or alcoholic drinks (think vodka and soda), you’ll need a little sweetness too. The sweetener drops taste like candy floss on their own, add just the right amount of sweetness to your drink and are completely sugar free! I love the look of the Chai flavour for steamed milk and cupcake frosting. The Rainbow Drops is a limited edition flavour that tastes just like skittles – hello flavoured vodka shooters!
P.S. You can read my other post on Flavour Nation HERE.
15.Game of Thrones notebook from Mantality for R85 – an A5, wire-bound notebook, that any Game of Thrones fan would LOVE to keep their notes, scribbles, lists and thoughts in.
I LOVED all your recommendations and wouldn’t mind receiving any of them!
Aaah thank you lovely! Just wait – I have another two guides coming up this week, as well as my wishlist next week! 😉 xx
