I’ve tried to include items for every kind of lady in this one – I’ve actually split the goodies up into two separate images. Enjoy, and if you have any questions or other suggestions, feel free to ask!
FASHION AND HOME
1.Inverroche Small Batch Handcrafted Gin for R319 from Makro – Officially one of my favourite gins, this is ideal for the gin or cocktail lover. You can really taste the difference, and the bottle is super luxe looking, making this a great addition to anyone’s booze cabinet.
2.Kindle Fire 7 inch Wifi Tablet for R995 from Takealot – I’ve long debated the pros and cons of a Kindle. I love the feeling of an actual book in my hands, but I can’t deny the fact that a Kindle would be a wonderful thing to have, with all my books stored on it. A great gift for any bookworm.
3.Red Wine Tumblers, R399 for 2 from Woolworths – Beautiful, chic and stemless, these are made from lead-free crystal. They are so unique as I love the idea of no stems – less spills!
4.Vintage copper bottle opener for R99.95 from Woolworths – A really pretty bottle opener, that you could perhaps give with the lady’s favourite cider or alcopop!
5.White satin pillow slip from Dear Deer for R190 or Beauty Worx for R170 – Sleeping on a satin or silk pillowcase has so many benefits. It’s easier on your hair, it’s gentler on your skin and it feels so damned fancy! I have several from this brand already, in the pale pink and the dark grey, and I never sleep without them.
6.Emporio Armani Gianni T-bar watch, from Superbalist for R5299 – The priciest thing I’ve added to this wishlist, but I just needed someone else to appreciate how beautiful this watch is. At first it looks pretty simple, yet classic, until you see the face – it has this glossy black mother-of-pearl face that gives off an oil-slick kind of sheen. Complete with a black leather strap, this is phenomenally beautiful.
7.Soylites pack of 3 x 220g Frosted Tumbler Soy Candles, in Clarity, Entice and Balance, R645 from Soylites – I think most ladies would love to receive a gift like this. Three gorgeous soy candles in frosted glasses! Clarity (bergamot, lemon and frangipani) is great for summer, Entice (cinnamon, orange, grapefruit and ginger) is such a Christmas scent, and Balance (neroli, lemongrass and cedarwood) sounds so clean and fresh. Plus – once the soy wax is melted, you can use the warm wax as a massage oil or moisturiser!
8.Soft grey and rose gold ‘bee’ watch by Olivia Burton, from Superbalist for R2399 – Dang but this is a beautiful watch. I’ve heard Fleur de Force talk often about Olivia Burton, and I can see why! This truly is something I’d even love myself. Genuine leather strap too!
BEAUTY
1.Smashbox Drawn In. Decked Out. Shadow + Contour + Blush palette from Red Square for R995 – Smashbox is known for it’s exceptional quality makeup products, so to find a palette like this is amazing bang for your buck. You get 15 eyeshadows, 2 big blushers and a contour set of bronzer, contour and highlight matte powders. Great for the girlie that travels, as she can then cut down on what products she packs in her makeup bag!
2.Lancôme Absolu Rouge Matt lipstick for R399 from Red Square – To me, Lancôme lipsticks are some of the most luxurious, and this one in the shade Matte 178 is the perfect festive red. A super classic shade that is timeless. There are 10 shades in total on the Red Square site.
3.Lulu & Marula Calming Bath Oil, R270 from Lulu & Marula online – Lulu & Marula have so many deliciously decadent, natural products, but this one is so great for a pampering night in, for someone who has a super stressful career. With a blend of lavender, neroli and geranium essential oils for stress and tension, and marula and sweet almond oil for softening and skin conditioning, that stressed out lady will be pampered and soothed and calm, all in one hit!
4.#WizardWandSet from Swiitch Beauty for R165 – A set of 5 makeup brushes, shaped like wands? Hello Harry Potter fan! I mean, at this rate who even needs to go to Hogwarts – you’ll be making magic with the gorgeous eye looks you create with these eye brushes.
5.Clinique Chubby Plump & Shine gloss, R295 from Red Square or Clinique online – A lovely, plumping lip gloss, in a range of gorgeous shades. This one is Jumbo Jem, a pretty pinky nude.
6.Coco Gold Coconut Water Hydromist with Rose and Lavender, for 189 from Coco Gold – This looks incredibly expensive, with the gorgeous glass bottle and petals floating in the liquid. It’s made using lavender, geranium, rose water and coconut water, so it’s SO good for your skin as a toner or a refreshing facial mist.
7.Tarte Limited Edition Maneater Makeover kit, for R380 from EyeSeeHue – For the beauty addict! This kit is a fab way of trying out some of the different products from Tarte (an overseas brand that we don’t get in South Africa). For the price, it includes a set of lashes, professional lash adhesive, deluxe travel size mascara and deluxe travel size glossy lip paint. Not bad, plus it’s a cruelty-free brand!
8.Narciso Rodriguez ‘Narciso Discovery’ set for R1885 from Woolworths – Three 30ml perfumes, the EDP, the EDT, and EDP Poudree – a total of 90ml of product! I know my mom loves the EDP from this, so this would be such a great gift for her, as they’re a decent size at 30ml, but small enough to toss in your handbag.
9.Dolce & Gabbana ‘Dolce’ EDP R1025 for 30ml from Woolworths – A stunning, feminine scent. Top notes of Neroli and Papaya, with a heart of Amaryllis, Daffodil and Water Lily.
10.Ofra Cosmetics Rodeo Drive Highlighter R550 from Ofra Cosmetics online – I know this seems expensive for a single highlighter compact, but this brand has recently started selling their gorgeous goodies in South Africa. They are INCREDIBLY pigmented and glowy (so you only use a tiny bit, and it’ll last for ages) and the quality is known world wide.
11.Skincreamery Oil-Milk Cleanser for R320 from Skincreamery – Something I’ve actually had on my own wishlist for a while. I’ve heard many a person rave about this luxurious natural cleanser that smells delicious and was made using certified organic oils. Good for your skin and good for your senses, as it leaves your skin soft and clean, but not stripped of moisture.
12.Elizabeth Arden Plush Up Lip Gelato, R295 from Red Square – A creamy gel formula that leaves a lush kiss of sheer colour on your lips. These were launched recently and I’ve been lusting after some myself! This one is in the shade Strawberry Sorbet, a gorgeous bright summer berry shade, but they have plenty of other shades to choose from.
13.Real Techniques Flawless Base Set, R449.95 from Real Techniques online – For 4 brushes and a brush holder, this price is damn good. Especially for this brand – some of the best brushes I’ve used, and they’re popular around the globe!
14.L’Oreal Hair Expertise Ultra Riche Intense Nourishing Mask, R179.95 from Clicks – A rich, delicious smelling hair mask for that once a week treat. It states for all types of dry hair, but I have hair that gets oily quickly, yet my ends are highlighted and desperate for thirst – basically, it’s a treat that any hair would be happy to receive.
15.dr.dermal Texture Correction Pads, R475 for 30 from Skinmiles – I’ve often spoken about these amazing pads. You only use one ever 3-4 days (I usually just use one a week), so a box will last for ages. They’re individually wrapped and covered with professional-strength glycolic acid, to exfoliate your skin. You’re left with smoother, softer skin. I’m about to go onto my second box of these.
16.Laniege Lip Sleeping Mask in Grapefruit, for R350 from Pink Cosmetics – I love slathering on a rich lip balm at night, so it has all night long to do the trick while I sleep. This lip mask is ultra-nourishing and is filled with a blend of anti-oxidants, hyaluronic acid and vitamin C, to leave your lips soft, supple, plumped and smooth come morning. They come in other flavours too, such as Vanilla and Apple-Lime.
What ideas do you have for Christmas gifts for the girlies??
I got a sample of the Lancôme Absolu Rouge Matt lipstick once, and it is the best red lippie I have ever used!
Beautiful gift guide, my friend xxx

I had a full sized one and it has miraculously disappeared from my collection. Not impressed!
Thanks lovely! x
