So – I realise I did a regular post like this when the Dischem Beauty Fair was on. However, there are so many gorgeous items on special at Clicks, right up until the 9th October, so I’ve decided today to round up the top 5 specials that you can save on!
I love these 3-for-2 specials, especially when it comes to pricier brands. Bioderma can be a bit spendy – think of the R80 you’ll spend on your 400ml Garnier micellar water, and then look at Bioderma’s price tag of R208 for the 250ml of Bioderma micellar water. However, Bioderma is a fabulous brand and has some amazing products for every skin type.
I’ve been wanting to get my little paws on the Hydrabio range that recently launched in South Africa, so I’d take this chance to save, and grab the following three products:
1. Photoderm Aquafluid SPF50+: I have this sunscreen and it’s the only thing I use on my face. It doesn’t irritate my skin, it doesn’t leave it greasy as it has a dry-touch formula, and it’s exceptionally light. It also doesn’t give that white caste, or cause flashback in photos. I use this every single damn day, and am nearing the end of my tube.
R228 for 40ml
2. Hydrabio Gel-Crème: I’ve been wanting to try out some of the Hydrabio range, and this sounds fab. I need hydration, but I can’t use a rich day cream. This would be light enough to give me that moisture boost, but not make my skin greasy or sticky.
R329.95 for 40ml
3. Hydrabio Serum: I’m all about the hydration, and love using a hydrating serum under a light moisturiser during the day, and under a richer one at night. It keeps my skin even and wards away any redness.
R309.95 for 40ml
I’d therefore pick up the Photoderm Aquafluid for FREE!
Now, I know it’s ridiculous to go and buy 3 of the same product, but I’m addicted to the Avène Thermal Water spray. It keeps your skin hydrated, both summer and winter, and is perfect for soothing red, sensitive skin. Ideal for chapped winter skin, and sunburned summer skin!
I’d grab myself 3 cans of this spray, at R149.95 a can, and save myself R149.95.
Both the BF and I use some Nivea skincare products. He uses the Nivea Men Sensitive Moisturiser, which is R94.95 a tube, and I use the Nivea Men Sensitive Post Shave Balm as a primer, at R99.95 a bottle. I’d probably grab one bottle for me and two tubes of moisturiser for him, and save R94.95.
I love these products. I’ve only used the Everstrong shampoo and it’s so so good – it’s sulphate free and yet it foams so luxuriously, leaving my hair soft and clean but not stripped. I’ve wanted to try more from the lines, so I’d give the following a bash: –
1 and 2. Pure Colour and Volume Shampoo and Conditioner: I enjoyed the Everstrong shampoo so much that I’d like to try out the Pure Colour version of this and the shampoo. I recently went from blonde to brunette, so I’d like a good colour protection haircare routine.
R139.95 each for 250ml
3. Pure Colour Refreshing Mask: I love using a hair mask once a week, and this would be ideal. It also goes with the colour protection theme.
R179.95 for 200ml
I’d therefore save R139.95
I have long wanted to try some of the Max Factor face products. This seems as good a time as any, seeing as I also love to hoard collect makeup bags. The bag is a simple but very classy
I would grab the Facefinity Compact foundation, as a good powder foundation is amazing to set my makeup and leave it that extra little bit flawless. This is R209.95.
I’d also pop one of the Excess Shimmer Shadow pots in my basket as well, most probably the chocolately-bronze shade, at R149.95 These are supposed to be just as good as the Maybelline Colour Tattoo cream pots, and they’re amazing!

What would you get your hands on, with these amazing specials???

Such a pleasure lovely xx
I also love the Bioderma sunscreen that you mentioned, especially the tinted version, and have used and repurchased it so many times, it's so great! The previous time I had to repurchase it was unfortunately out of stock, so I decided to try Avene's version of their SPF50 facial sunscreen. What attracted me was the airless packaging because it has a pump tube which is utterly convenient. I was pleasantly impressed by the product itself and have since used the buy-3-for-2 promotion to stock up 🙂
Did you get something from Bioderma Hydrabio range, is it good? xx
I always go back to the Bioderma one as it's 'dry-touch' and doesn't sit on my fave greasily. It helps combat oil in the summer.
I still haven't had my chance to take advantage of the offer on Bioderma – our local Clicks hasn't had any stock of the Hydrabio range yet, and I haven't had time to see any others. I really want to grab some on the special though!
