FOR HIM

I am so sorry that it’s taken me so long to get the second gift guide up!  I was in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe from Thursday last week until yesterday, but I’m back and have two more gift guides for you as well as my wishlist.  Here’s the gift guide for Him – for any gents in your life, whether they be husbands, boyfriends, brothers, fathers or friends.

Men can be so difficult to buy for, they either have it all, or they buy it themselves.  Here are some unique things that could make gift giving easier.

GIFT GUIDE HIM

.Woodford Reserve Bourbon Whiskey (R599) – Premium, small batch American bourbon.  Perfect gift for the bourbon lover.

.Mellerware Biltong Maker (R399) – Guys love their biltong, so what better way to spoil them for Christmas, but with a way to make their own?  I know my hubs loves this idea and my father in law adores his.

.Oral B Pro 2 2000 Rechargeable Toothbrush (R629) – Electric or rechargeable toothbrushes are always a great gift, as they’re something a lot of people won’t buy themselves.  I know this seems boring, but some folks like a functional gift.

.Luxury Chocolate Almond Selection (R149.99) – Some men have a sweet tooth, and this chocolate almond selection would totally put a smile on my Dad’s face.

.Whiskey Bullets (R389 for 6) – My hubs loves his bourbon on the rocks, as I’m sure plenty of men like their drink, whether it’s bourbon or whiskey.  These stainless steel whiskey bullets are placed in the freezer and then keep your drink cold without watering it down.  Plus, they’re shaped like bullets.

.Zippo 1941 Replica Black Ice (R595.70) – I’m not one to condone smoking, as I don’t like it, but my Hubs still smokes.  This would be a gift he’d love, and I’m sure he’d use it for more than his cigarettes – lighting fires or candles too.

.Taylormade 12 pack Burner Soft white golf balls (R149) – A nice stocking stuffer for the gents.  Golfers never have enough golf balls!

.Srixon Men’s Cabretta Golf Glove (R229.90) – A nice gift for the avid golfer.

.Nike Metal Swoosh Sportswear Heritage 86 Cap (R279.95) – Really great gift for the sportsman.

.Bosch 2000W Meat Mincer & Sausage Maker (R2599) – My hubs and his dad have been talking about making their own boerewors for a while now.  This is the perfect machine as you can mince up your selected meat and stuff it into sausage casing!  Such an awesome present for the man who loves to cook and braai.

.Die Mas Potstill Brandy (R309) –  South African men are such lovers of brandy, that this would be a fantastic gift.  A nice change from the usual Klipdrift too!

.Coleman 50QT Extreme Cooler (R1799) – A monstrously big cooler on wheels?  Perfect for braai or beach days, or days spent at the damn or camping.  You can make sure everything stays icy cold, without putting out your back trying to cart it around.

.The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson (R209) – I’ve heard nothing but good things about this book, and I think a lot of us (men and women) would benefit from it.

.Leatherman MUT (R3299) – Multi tools are a fantastic gift for gents, especially if they’re outdoors men or work with tools a lot.

.Country Road Clark Weekender bag (R1799) – A fabulous gift for the travel-loving man for shorter getaways.

.Bamboo Blend 3-pack of Socks (R120) – I know socks seem like a silly thing, but I gave Hubs a pack of these on our wedding day, and since then he asks for a new pack for both birthdays and Christmas.  They’re his absolute favourites socks!  Super soft too.

.Johnnie Walker White Walker (R1150) – I know plenty of gents who love whiskey AND Game of Thrones.  How ideal is this limited edition collaboration of the two?

.The Body Shop Beard Care Kit (R320) – Beards don’t seem to be losing their popularity, and men seem to love grooming them.  This kit has all a gent needs to keep that facial fuzz looking sharp.

.Yuppiechef Beer Basics Gift Box (R399) – A wonderful gift for the beer lover, this gift box contains 6 different beers, along with a bottle opener and a Fridge Monkey, a sneaky little thing to help you stack your beers in the fridge without them rolling all over the place.
