This post has been a LONG time coming.  This gorgeous palette – the Too Faced Natural Eyes Palette – is the perfect palette for everyday, to travel with and a great multi-tasker too.

I had this in my collection for a while, without using it too often, and then one day something clicked, and I’ve literally used it for something every single day since.  I don’t know what I’ll do the day this is finished or if it ever breaks or gets lost.  It’s become that valuable to me!

So, without further ado, let me get started on my full product review of this gem.

PRODUCT

The Too Faced Natural Eyes eyeshadow palette.

PACKAGING

The packaging is sturdy metal, with a metallic closure.  There are 9 pans of product in it, 3 of them larger than the others.  There is a small mirror on the inside.

The palette is decorated with a lace print, and has metallic gold edging.  All very pretty and nice quality.

FORMULA AND WEAR

The shadows are powder, but are incredibly soft and smooth and easy to blend.  As with most palettes, the formula is different on the different finishes – the matte shadows are soft and pigmented and easily blended, the satin and metallic shadows are the best, very pigmented and blend out like a dream, but the shadows with glitter in (Erotica and Chocolate Martini) are a bit chunkier and you don’t get as much product to pick up, and there’s more fallout, but they still apply nicely and work well on the eyes.

The shadows wear exceptionally well, even without a primer, but with a primer they apply BEAUTIFULLY and will last until you take them off.  Great quality!

I’ve used these shadows for a number of things other than my eyelids – I use the matte shades often to fill in my brows, I use Silk Teddy as a highlight and it works gorgeously, and I’ve even mixed a couple of the matte shades and used it to contour before when I’ve forgotten my bronzer and contour products and I was in a pinch!  You just need to be light handed as they’re pretty pigmented.

SHADES AND SWATCHES

All neutral and natural shades, with a bit of sparkle, and there is enough variety that you can do a number of day time and night time looks.  Sparkles, mattes and everything in between!

PRICE

These are $36 overseas, and sadly Too Faced is an international brand.  However there are some places here that stock it.  Muse Beauty sells it for R720 – it works out more expensive, but factor in the shipping and customs charges, as well as being able to get it overnight as opposed to waiting weeks for it to arrive, and you know it’s worth it!  Otherwise, if you’re heading overseas, you can grab it there!

WHERE FROM?

Overseas or from Muse Beauty.

REPURCHASE?

YES YES YES!  This has become my most used palette ever and I take it with whenever I travel!
