GRAPEFRUIT & ROSEMARY GIN SOUR

I recently received this glorious bottle of gin from one of my favourite gin companies - the @poeticlicenseza The Rarities Grapefruit & Tonka Bean Gin.

A sophisticated, citrus-forward gin that is smooth & flavourful, I thought I'd whip up a cocktail worthy of it by going the extra mile. Freshly squeezed grapefruit juice & a simple syrup infused with fresh rosemary.

INGREDIENTS:-

50ml @poeticlicenseza The Rarities Grapefruit & Tonka Bean Gin
30ml freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
25ml rosemary simple syrup
1/2 an egg white
Sliced grapefruit & sprig of rosemary for garnish

METHOD:-
Light the rosemary & place under your cocktail glass to smoke.
Add your gin, grapefruit juice, simple syrup & egg white to a cocktail glass & dry shake (with no ice to create foam).
Add ice & shake again (to chill).
Strain into your cocktail glass, garnish with a slice of grapefruit & the burnt rosemary, & enjoy!

A delicious, fresh cocktail with a delicate rosemary hint to it - you'll definitely want another!

RUBY SPARKLER

Life unfortunately got in the way of me posting this delicous cocktail from @kwvwines - although I whipped up a delicious drink for my mom & I last month when we had my family over for dinner!

This is a wonderful autumn cocktail, filled with the rich flavours of delicious @kwvwines Cape Ruby fortified dessert wine, & combined with their Demi-Sec sparkling wine (I have loved & bought their Cuvee Brut a number of times, but this Demi-Sec is fab in this cocktail).

You can tailor this cocktail to your taste (more or less Cape Ruby)!

INGREDIENTS:-
1 part @kwvwines Cape Ruby
4 parts @kwvwines Demi-Sec
Garnish of berries optional

METHOD:-
Pour Cape Ruby into your chilled bubbly glass & top with chilled Demi-Sec. Garnish if you'd like, & enjoy!

AGAVE SUNRISE In a couple of weeks we'll be headi

AGAVE SUNRISE

In a couple of weeks we'll be heading down the South Coast for a weekend away with friends, to celebrate a birthday - & that birthday girl loves a Tequila Sunrise, so I figured I'd better practice so as not to disappoint her!

I always use my trusty @leonistaspirit for drinks like this - & a GREAT quality orange juice is a must, which is where the @oneco.sa Craft Juicery Orange Juice with a twist of Blossom comes in.

INGREDIENTS:-
50ml @leonistaspirit Reposado Black
@oneco.sa Craft Juicery Orange Juice with a twist of Blossom
20ml grenadine
Ice
Maraschino cherries to garnish

METHOD:-
Add your agave spirit to an ice filled glass & almost fill with orange juice.
Slowly pour the grenadine down the side so that it sinks to the bottom.
Garnish & enjoy!

Many of you know I am a huge fan of the @kikovitals products, so here's my unboxing of my most recent monthly delivery!

These products have made a HUGE difference in my life, & I take them every single morning religiously.

HORMONE BALANCE - I've suffered from endometriosis for many many years, & ended up with a partial hysterectomy last year. My hormones have been out of whack for years, & this has been my best discovery in terms of keeping them in sync.

DEBLOAT + GUT GLOW - I have issues with water retention & bloating from the hormonal issues, as well as stress-related IBS. This product has been my saving grace, & I don't go anywhere without it. A fabulous product to start with, as you feel results less than an hour after taking them! Plus - this works as a lovely natural anti-nausea!

PREBIOTIC + PROBIOTIC - everyone should take a probiotic daily as a natural aid to so many different concerns (immune system, skin, gut issues, etc). This is a fantastic product as it includes the prebiotic that the probiotic needs to function! I've noticed a big difference in my overall health when taking this daily.
