If you’re a lover of the gorgeous charms from Pandora, and love to support a great cause, then best you add this beautiful new charm to your Christmas wishlist!
In honour of World Children’s Day on 20 November, Pandora have launched a stunning new limited-edition charm this month – the Pandora for UNICEF Blooming Flower Double Dangle Charm. Pandora has a long-standing partnership with UNICEF through their Charms For Change initiative, and this is latest limited-edition charm is an absolute stunner.
The best part is that 15€ (R255.96 as of 6 September 2022) from every Charm For Change purchased is donated to UNICEF‘s worldwide programmes to give children a chance to thrive, and help us to create a world where children have hopes for a brighter future.
The charm features a gorgeous flower with a blue stone and a disc engraved with ‘learn, grow, love‘. Flowers can grow tall and strong even in unlikely or unpleasant surroundings, and if everyone is given the right time, opportunity and care, they can also bloom to their full potential. The head designers Francesco Terzo and A. Filippo Ficarelli say “since we are supporting young people through their education, the flower represents what all of us can do in order to help a child blossom to their full potential. ‘Blossoming’ is a very important word for this design because it’s inspired by blossoming through adversity.”
All around the world 22% of people between the ages of 15-24 years are without education, training or employment. 68% of this figure are girls or young women! Using Charms For Change, Pandora hopes to support UNICEF programmes for education, gender equality, rights awareness, personal empowerment and civic engagement, and has been doing so since 2019.
To help put it into perspective – with the purchase of just ONE Pandora for UNICEF charm, UNICEF are able to purchase 500 pencils, 6 school bags or 10 exercise books for the classroom.
Wear your support on 20 November for World Children’s Day with Charms For Change and help UNICEF to ensure every child not only survives but thrives.
